I have been driving an old 1980 cheap Ford pickup for over 25 years now. I bought this truck when it was 4 years old and have took care of it almost like it was one of my children. I’ve always had routine tune ups done on it and made sure it was well maintained. I have never had to replace the motor or do any major mechanic work on the engine. Since it hit the 300,000 mileage mark a few months ago, it has gradually been running slower and slower. Earlier this week I went out to start it and there was no way to keep it running. After all these years, I guess it is time for me and my old friend to finally part ways.
