I love power tools. I fancy myself somewhat as a Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor, but with a better performance record. One thing I have always lamented is that there has never been a good cordless drill. They were either too heavy, the handle was too small, or the battery made it really unbalanced. During my weekly pilgrimage to Home Depot, I noticed the makita bdf452hw. I played with it in the store and talked with the salesman quite a bit. From what I can tell, the batteries are small (and thy charge in 15 minutes!?), the handle is really comfortable, and it is very light. I am definitely going to buy it, I am just looking for better prices online. The happiest person in this whole thing is my wife-she will not have to hear my complaining anymore about there not being a good cordless drill.
